The most common Iron Maiden words used in their songs

Iron Maiden have released sixteen studio albums, their debut smashed out in 1980. Putting them all together that's a lot of songs, and a lot of words sung. Thanks to a dedicated fan, We have data on Iron Maiden's most commonly used words in their lyrics.

On the  Iron Maiden Reddit the user u/viikonloppusoturit created a graph that shows the Top 25 most frequently occurring words in Iron Maiden's songs. Without cheating can you guess what the top 3 are?

The most used word is "Know" other common words are "Now", "Time", "Just", "See" and others, see the graph below.

It's funny how "Know" is the most common word and there isn't an Iron Maiden song with "Know" in the title. Well there is know in apart of a word with their song "The Great Unknown" not sure if that was included. Here are some lines in their songs that use the word "know"

"Now that I know that the right time has come"

"When you know that your time is close at hand"

"I know the moment's getting closer"

"What you see is not real, those who know will not tell"

Is there a new Iron Maiden album on the way?

In other Iron Maiden news it looks like they their 17th studio album on the way which may be entitled Writing on the Wall or Belshazzar's Feast.

There's been a few teasers going around online for about a week now with Hot Press Magazine suggesting details will be revealed on 15th July.

Could there have been a clue with Bruce Dickinson wearing a T-shirt in a recent interview with the words “Belshazzar’s Feast” on the front. In the interview when questioned about a new album Dickinson replied “I can’t tell you what it is, but it’s right in front of you"

Well I guess we will have to wait and see.
