Ozzy Osbourne presents rap award at Grammys
It was Ozzy Osbourne's first public appearance since he announced his diagnosis with Parkinson's disease. The award he was presenting was the award for Best Rap/Sung Performance' at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
It's interesting they chose Ozzy to do this, He was joined on stage by his wife Sharon. Sharon co-hosted the Grammy Red Carpet Live earlier in the evening.
The legendary frontman was in good spirits but was using a cain during his time on stage. Sharon did most of the talking and she announced the winner - DJ Khaled and John Legend for Nipsey Hussle.
They both stayed on stage and announced the next performer. "Last year this woman was the talk of the Grammys and I love her," Sharon declared, before Ozzy quickly responded, "I thought you loved me!" This was a cute couple moment and Sharon said to the crowd "I love him, too."
Earlier this this week in an interview with Good Morning America, Ozzy revealed he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. This was discovered when he was recovering from a hard fall from which he had to cancel his 2019 tour.
Ozzy told the crowd he was taking some medications for it and describes the feeling it endures “I got a numbness down this arm for the surgery, my legs keep going cold,” he revealed. “I don't know if that's the Parkinson's or what, you know, but that's – that's the problem, because they cut nerves when they did the surgery. I'd never heard of nerve pain, and it's a weird feeling."
