Liam and Noel Gallagher launch a film company. Could this be the start of an Oasis biopic?

One of music's favourite sibling rivalries Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher have reportedly started a new film company together. Could this mean there's an Oasis biopic in the works?

Kosmic Kyte is the name of the film company the brothers have formed. Liam and Noel have been listed as the company directors. Also on the list is Alec McKinlay of Ignition management who have managed Oasis over the years.

There's been rumours the biopic will feature their story from their humble upbringing in the town of Longsight, Manchester to them becoming an international success.

Last week Liam Gallagher tweeted "There gonna put in the movies ? there gonna make a big star ⭐️ out of me c’mon you know LG"

There's an upcoming biopic about about Creation Record's boss Alan McGee. The actors playing Noel and Liam are Leo Harvey-Elledge and James McCelland. James McCelland is playing Noel and he said "It’s quite a big ask because they are that big a name. But at the same time, they’re so well documented”. Harvey Elledge who's set to play Liam said “There’s so much out there to look into, so many videos, so it’s a gift as an actor”.

"Mr Bean for Noel, because he’s annoying, isn’t he? You just want to punch his f*****g head in"

Liam never lets a opportunity go to have a dig at Noel. Previously he tweeted about who would play Noel, “Mr Bean for Noel, because he’s annoying, isn’t he? You just want to punch his f*****g head in. Rhys Ifans for me.”

Could the biopic also bring on an Oasis reunion? In 2018 Liam told Noel “Let’s get the big O back together and stop fucking about”, And in 2020 he said "that the idea of a reunited Oasis had been “booted around … it’s gonna happen very fucking soon because [Noel]’s greedy and he loves money”. In 2020 Noel told Vogue “I’ve often thought, let’s just do a gig”, but also admitted: “I realised I would only be doing it to shut this fucking idiot up.”
